I’m a big fan of Mike Rowe.  He comes across as just your basic down-to-earth guy: full of dry humor, wit and light-hearted teasing (mostly at his own expense).  “Dirty Jobs” was on constant rotation when it aired.

Now, I’ll admit I haven’t had much time to watch his new show “Returning the Favor” – but I really think the concept is terrific.  The show follows Mike Rowe as he travels across the US to meet people who are giving back to their communities. Those being profiled get a surprise at the end of the show (the “big reveal”) that permits them to do even more of whatever good work it is that they are doing.  It brings attention and resources to people are going out of their way to make a real difference in the lives around them.

The other day, this episode came to my attention.  I felt it was worthy of a share.  You can check out other episodes on “Facebook Watch”.
